Training on production of saw dust mask and souvenirs was conducted at NIZC Kawajangsa, Thimphu from the 15th to 24th October, 2013 supported by UNDP. The objective for conducting training was mainly to enhance their skills and knowledge in producing mask and souvenirs with saw dust and also to help craft dealers generate income.

There were twelve participants with two master craftsmen from Craft Bazaar. The participants were taught on the techniques of making souvenir items from sawdust and explained on basic requirements of raw materials and the kinds of tools used. At the end of the training, the participants produced 124 sawdust souvenirs which consisted of eight lucky sign, Traditional Boots, Atsara mask, Takin, small mask, frames with Traditional Boots and Atsara.
